Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting in the Dudley area for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Pay: £8.00 – £8.70 per hour DOE
Hours: Mon – Thurs 8.30-5pm and early finish on Friday
Duties: Creating Purchase Orders, and ensuring these are signed off
Progress orders to obtain accurate delivery dates and ensure that PO’s are sent to the supplier along with the relevant paperwork
Ensuring that all orders are kept up to date with customers, supplier, internal teams etc.
Dealing with queries with supplier on receipt of goods
Ensuring all suppliers price lists are up to date
Support operations team
General office and administration work as requested by Manager
Experience: Strong IT skills are essential especially Excel
Basic level of Maths and English
Strong communication skills are essential for this role
Previous experience in a busy purchasing role is essential
