Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client for a Part Time Administrator working 20 hours per week on a permanent basis based in Central Birmingham.
Hours: 20 per week (Hours to be discussed and negotiated) You may sometimes be required to work outside of normal working hours and occasionally this may include an overnight stay in the UK
Pay: £10.50 per hour
Benefits: Company Pension, 30 days holiday per annum (pro rata)
Role: Working within the International Graduate Programmes team, the post holder is primarily responsible for the day to day administration of the sponsorship scheme.
You will be expected to understand eligibility criteria and processes of the parallel scheme for graduates coming to the UK for training.
Duties: Be the first point of contact for enquiries for the scheme, sponsoring UK consultants, hospital medical personnel staff and other related medical organisations
Provide advice and guidance to International Medical Graduates and UK consultants on eligibility for the scheme
Administer and coordinate application paperwork including processing fees
Liaise regularly with the Clinical lead for the scheme
Liaise with the UK General Medical Council on matters of registration for International Medical Graduates to practice medicine and for the annual GMC audit of the scheme
Keep up to date with changes and developments to the rules of immigration and registration that might impact the scheme
Participate in meeting
Undertake an annual internal audit of the scheme with a view to improving processes
Produce statistical reports
Liaise with the Communications team to create and maintain relevant pages on the website and provide appropriate content for publications and email updates
Experience: Previous Administration/Secretarial and database experience is essential
Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) are essential
Working on your own and also with a team
Excellent professional communication skills both verbal and written
