Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in Kidderminster for an experienced Internal Sales executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role would suit someone who has proven sales experience relating to drywall lining systems and metal components, with a good understanding and knowledge of the installation and performance of dry wall constructions.
Hours: Mon – Fri 8.30-17.00

Duties: Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims including costs and sales
Work with Territory Sales Manager and manage this territory dealing with all account management duties
Prepare and maintain quotations for technical and product sales where necessary
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
Liaise with Architects and Contractors with regard to potential projects and send relevant information to your Territory Sales Manager when projects are due for tender
Carry out/support local marketing activities e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions etc.
Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods
Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of business accounts
Experience: Previous experience in a Internal Sales/Account Manager, Business Development role is essential
Ideally you will have worked within the building trade for Travis Perkins, Builders Merchants, Contractors within the industry, Interior fit out company etc.
Excellent telephone manner and computer skills are essential
