Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client for a Part Time Credit Controller on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
Hours: 20-30 hours per week (days and hours to be agreed)
Pay: £9.00-9.50 per hour
Role: To start with the main duties of this role will be mainly chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email.
You will be allocated part of the ledger and your duties with this will be:
Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
Prepare proposed stop list with aged balances for review by the Senior Credit Controller. Update the system with agreed stop list
Effectively deal with customer account queries/complaints including liaising with other departments to ensure they are bought to a satisfactory conclusion
Issue collection letters and progress through to court action if required
Other duties: Daily reconciliation of sales ledger, including posting to customer accounts. This includes a daily download of BACS receipts and allocate receipts to appropriate account
Updating of cash spread sheet with who has paid
Prepare bank paying in book with payee details and post payments
Experience: A minimum of 3 years Credit Control experience is essential
Excellent communication skills are essential both verbal and written
