Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client for a Outreach Projects & Activities Co-ordinator for a 6 month contract from Mid August 2018.

Hours: Normal working hours are 9-5pm Mon – Fri however this role will require you to travel and work away from home and will require overnight stays.

Package: £12 per hour plus over night allowwances, expenses and time off in lieu

Role: You will be responsible for prromoting and representing the College and for building relationships with organisations and groups allied to surgery. You will work to engage with potential and existing Fellows, Members and Affiliates

This is a fast paced role that will see you travel regulalry across the UK and Ireland working on the Surgical Skills Competition

Tasks: Develop, Coordinae and attend Regional Heats for the Surgical Skills Competition across UK and Ireland

Work with Administrators to process and update Affiliate Networks for students participating in the competition

Opeerate as the sole representative of the college when speaking to existing and new member at events

Complete pre and post event tasks in a timely manner to ensure correct capture of information#

Work closely with Communications and PR to ensure appropriate material is sipplued to promote the competition and ensure coverage. This would include sending details of regional heat winnders, pictures and quotes to comms team.

Administration of project budgets

Analysis of project successes and returns on investment

Administration of applications, payments and maintenance of the affiliates and advisers database and report

Qualifications: Edducated to Advanced Higher Grade/A Level/HNC or HND/Degree or equivalent

Experience: Proven Administrative/secretarial/database experience is essential

IT Proficient

Experience of project or event planning and a practical understanding of good practice in project management is essential

Experience of budgetary control would be desirable

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines

Interviews will take place beginning of August and the successful candidate must be able to commence employment mid August
