Team Support Midlands are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of their client based in Coleshill for an experienced UK Sales Administrator to join their team on a temporary contract until February 2019 covering maternity. (Position may become permanent for the right candidate)
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am-5pm
Pay: £9.50 – 10.25 per hour
Role: Effectively manage the customer contact via telephone and email. Ensure orders are processed within the relevant timeframes. Handle queries and communicate effectively both internally and externally. General Administration duties such as covering switchboard and filing.
Duties: Use computerised systems to make inventory and customer queries (including debits and credits)
Process and progress orders through to dispatch
Maintain telephone contact with customers, external sales teams and transport companies to ensure a timely communication flow between all parties
Respond to customer enquiries relating to stock, pricing and discount and provide technical support where possible
Provide customer quotations
Organise transport for non standard deliveries
Ensure deliveries are progressed and any issues relating to delivery are dealt with efficiently, with the correct escalation where necessary
Provide the external sales team with information relating to quotations, customer accounts etc.
Liaise with all departments on issues relating to product manufacture, assembly etc.
Assist with export orders as necessary
Experience: Previous experience within a similar role is essential
GCSE in Maths and English is essential
Excellent telephone manner and also be computer literate
