AWR or agency workers regulation was implemented in the UK in October 2011.
The purpose of AWR is to provide temporary workers with equal treatment in terms of basic working and employment conditions including access to site amenities. The rights will apply after a 12 week qualifying period.
Following the 12 week qualifying period the temporary workers will be entitled to equal treatment, including; pay, working hours, overtime, breaks, holidays and access to training and collective facilities. Equal treatment does not apply to sick pay or paternity/maternity leave.
Team Support offer a number of contractual solutions that ensure our clients are not over charged while remaining compliant with AWR.
Flexible charge rates allow our clients to ensure pay parity but also help reduce unnecessary costs many other agencies may charge. Team Supports transparent invoicing will allow you to view your costs and budget accordingly for AWR.
